Our profession as Christians and as worshippers was not meant to be lived in a vacuum. For the worshipper of Christ, to live rightly means to live outwardly . This was one of my points in my sermon last night at Oak Street outreach while talking about what it means to believe.
When the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment and was healed, Jesus allowed neither the woman nor her faith to remain anonymous.
We will know we are in the awakening that He is sending to our generation, when multitudes of the true worshippers of God live their faith outwardly and on purpose.

I want to do that... How do you do that?
In order to live our faith outwardly we must die to ourself.. Gal. 2:20 puts it this way....
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
It's no longer I doing the things I do when I'm crucified with Christ, but Christ working in me and through me to bring glory to God. If our gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost.
By living our faith outwardly we then have a ministry and the Bible says:
2Co 4:1-18 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. To live your faith outwardly means I must decrease in order the Christ may increase.
"nothing wrong but nothing right"...that would be the sin of omission. Failing to do what we know we should do... knowing for sure God has given us clear direction in a matter, but refusing to obey.
